Publish and check
Publish the item and open your site. The Health Check screen shows what was detected and what still needs attention.

Built Around Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder
Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder are widely used together, but the header and footer are still the parts that are hardest to design visually. Joomla Header Footer Builder closes that gap with a dedicated Helix Ultimate header footer builder that uses the SP Page Builder editor you already know.
It is designed to stay out of the way of your template: it does not edit or override Helix Ultimate or SP Page Builder files, and it works through Joomla's standard module system.

How It Works
Planned flowYou design the header or footer in SP Page Builder, then Joomla Header Footer Builder decides where it appears and renders it through a Joomla module.

In Headers & Footers, add a new header or footer and give it a title.

Choose a standalone SP Page Builder page from the picker, or start a new one from the item screen.

The wizard publishes the header and footer and validates your choices along the way.

Installation
At launch- 1
Install the Free package from Extensions > Install, like any other Joomla extension.

Open the component and run the Setup Wizard.

Optional: install the Pro package on top of Free and activate your key under Settings > License.
The Pro package refuses to install without the Free package, and updates arrive through Joomla's own update system.

Is Joomla Header Footer Builder available yet?

Does it work with Helix Ultimate?
Yes. It is built for Helix Ultimate and works through Joomla's standard module system, so it does not edit or override template files.
Do I need SP Page Builder?
Yes. Headers and footers are designed with SP Page Builder. Final requirements for each edition will be listed at launch.
Will it break when Helix Ultimate or SP Page Builder updates?
It is designed not to. It does not edit or override their files, it falls back to your default Helix header and footer if something goes wrong, and Safe Mode and a Health Check screen help you diagnose problems quickly.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free lets you design and publish a custom header and footer with automatic matching, a Setup Wizard, Health Check and Safe Mode. Pro adds menu item, category, language and user group conditions, include and exclude rules, and transparent, hide-on-scroll and shrink-on-scroll header effects.
What happens if my Pro license expires?
Header and footer rendering never checks the license, so an expired key cannot break what your visitors see.
