A Part Does Not Show

If a part does not show, work through the list from the top.

Check the basics

• The plugin System - MuRu Cart Plus (for EasyStore) is enabled in System > Plugins.
• The part is switched on in the plugin settings.
• Clear the Joomla cache, your browser cache and the cache of any caching or CDN plugin.

Ask the page

Switch on Debug messages, open the page, open the browser console (F12) and type MuRuCartPlus.status(). A part says ok when it started, off when you switched it off, and a short reason when it could not find its place, for example "no add-to-cart button found" or "not a product page". Or read the What shows now panel.

Common reasons

• Sticky bar missing. It shows only on product pages and only after the real button has scrolled away. A "phones only" setting hides it on wide screens.
• Shipping bar missing. The amount is empty or zero, or the cart is empty.
• Add-ons missing. No cross-sell products are set up in EasyStore, or the cart page cannot be read.
• A template that removes EasyStore's class names. The part cannot find its place and stays off.

Turn Debug messages off again when you are done.
