Floating Cart

This feature is available in the Pro edition.

The floating cart is a cart button or bar that stays on screen on every page of your site and opens EasyStore's cart drawer. It lets a customer get back to the cart from the home page, the shop page or any other page.

This is a Pro feature. Install the Pro package and activate your license first. See Install Pro and Activate Your License.

Switch it on

1. Open System > Plugins and filter by type murucartplus, or search for "MuRu Cart Plus Pro". Open it and go to the Floating cart tab.
2. Switch on Floating cart and choose the Side, right or left.
3. Choose the Look: a round button with the item count, or a bar along the bottom with the label, the count and the total.
4. Save, then open any page of your site.

Where it shows

Under Do not show on, tick the pages to leave it off. The cart and checkout pages are ticked by default, because they already show the cart. You can also tick product pages.

Switch on Only when the cart has something in it to hide it while the cart is empty. Left off, it is always visible with a zero count.

What it does

• Pressing it opens the same cart drawer as EasyStore's own cart icon. With no drawer on the page it goes to the cart page.
• The count and total follow the cart, also right after an add from the drawer.
• It stays above the sticky add-to-cart bar and hides while the drawer is open.
