Export

• Selected items or whole menu types, with parent-child hierarchy, link, type, component ID, params, and access levels.

Import

• Parent-child relationships rebuilt with ID remapping; optional overwrite matched by ID or alias+menutype.
• Missing menu types are created automatically (with J3/J4+ schema guards).
• Component validation: component-type items need their extension installed on the target; URL, alias, separator, and heading items always import.
• Trees stay intact: source nested-set values are never reused, and the menu tree is rebuilt after import.
