Technical Requirements

Versions

  • J3 Edition: Joomla 3.4–3.10, PHP 5.6+.
  • J4/5/6 Edition: Joomla 4.0+, PHP 8.1+.

License

Both packages require an active MuRu Migration license: activate a key in Settings before the migration tools become available. Keys are re-checked at most once per hour; an unverified key or an unreachable license server leaves the tools locked. There is no update-feed/download integration yet.

Scope

Administrator-only component. Imports run with Joomla ACL and request-token checks; imported JSON/ZIP content and archive paths are treated as untrusted (path checks, file-type validation, size limits).
