Introduction to MuRu Reviews

MuRu Reviews turns the reviews you already earn into social proof on your own Joomla site. Reviews are fetched server-side, normalised, stored in a local file cache, and rendered as real HTML by four display paths: a module, a {murureviews} shortcode, a menu-item page, and an SP Page Builder addon.

How it works

1. A provider (Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, …) fetches reviews from the source's official API.
2. Each review is normalised into one shape and written to the cache.
3. Every display path reads the cache only and renders the same data - visitors never wait on an API.

Free and Pro

• Free - Google Business Profile (one location), Cards / List / Basic carousel layouts, minimum-rating and count filters, all four display paths.
• Pro - everything in Free plus Trustpilot, Facebook, Tripadvisor, Yelp, G2, JED, Capterra and manual reviews, multiple Google locations, an aggregated rating, eight more layouts, keyword / source / location / date filters and review moderation.

Pro installs over Free as a normal Joomla update and keeps your settings. If a Pro licence lapses, your site falls back to Free-level output - it never breaks a page.
