MuRu Reviews updates through Joomla's own updater -- no separate download visits, no manual file merges.
Update
- Go to System > Update > Extensions.
- Free and Pro each register their own update feed, so the right release appears automatically. Pro feeds carry your license download ID.
Updating (or reinstalling over the current version) never deletes saved data: Place ID, API key, display defaults, manual reviews, license key, and the review cache all survive.
Upgrade Free to Pro
Install the Pro bundle over Free as a normal update -- same element names, settings carried across untouched. Then paste your key under Settings > License and Activate.
Uninstall
System > Manage > Extensions, filter "MuRu", select the package (or pieces) and Uninstall. This removes files, database rows, and the saved configuration -- a full uninstall is the one operation that clears settings, which is standard Joomla behavior.
