Alert rules and quiet hours
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Alert rules (Pro) keep e-mail useful on busy sites. Find them in Global Configuration → MuRu Guard.
What you can set
- Alert on new findings of level: All findings, or High only to skip Medium ones.
- Per-watch switches for new scan findings, the homepage watch, the reputation and blocklist watch, honeypot tripwires, update source changes, security-relevant admin actions, weak administrator passwords, protected user changes and the PHP-in-uploads watch.
- Quiet hours: a start and end hour (0 to 23, site time, 24-hour clock). Leave both empty for none.
What happens during quiet hours
Alerts are held, not lost, and sent as one e-mail when the window ends. A tripped honeypot is the one alert that is never held.
