Content SEO-spam scan

One of the quietest monetizations of a hacked Joomla site is SEO spam: pharma, gambling, adult, or link-injection keywords hidden inside otherwise normal content. The Content Spam scan tab (Pro) sweeps articles and Custom HTML modules for these injections.

What it checks

Each article and Custom HTML module is matched against the SEO-spam keyword set (pharma, casino/loan/replica terms, backlink/escort/adult phrases). A single hit is a "review this" signal rather than a conviction — a legitimate page could mention one such word in passing — while several hits together are a much stronger signal. The matched keyword is shown on the finding.

Pipeline

Findings reuse the standard pipeline: one-click false-positive dismissal (tied to the exact content reviewed, so a later re-compromise reappears) and Check-via-AI review.

Joomla 3

On the Joomla 3 edition (v2.3.0) the same tab sweeps the homepage plus the menu table instead of articles/modules — same keyword set, same review pipeline.
