Free vs Pro

MuRu Product Add-Ons comes as two add-ons. The free one does the core job on its own. Pro is a second plugin that installs on top of it and widens what you can set up once you enter a license key.

In the free add-on

• Checkbox, dropdown, radio and short text fields.
• A fixed price per field or per option.
• Groups for the products you pick.
• Up to 3 fields per product (the first 3, in the order you set them up).
• Required fields, help text, placeholders and length limits.

In Pro

• More field types: long text, number and date.
• More ways to price: a percentage of the product's price, per character typed, or per unit entered.
• Wider groups: whole categories, or every product.
• Any number of fields per product.
• Updates through Joomla with your license key.

If a license ends

The free limits apply again and your shop keeps working. A field or group that needs Pro is not shown in the shop, but it stays saved, marked "needs Pro" in the settings, and comes back when the license is active again.
