Set Up
Activate your Pro licence
- Open MuRu Compliance Auditor → Settings.
- The licence field is write-only: it shows a masked hint (first and last four characters) and a Change button that reveals an empty password field.
- Paste the key from your dashboard account and save. Clearing the field drops back to the free edition.
- The key is verified against
store.lyzerslab.com. On success the two Pro scan profiles and the privacy check unlock, and the key is re-checked automatically about once an hour.
What makes a key valid
- It is an active key issued for MuRu Compliance Auditor, or a key from a plan bundle that includes MuRu Compliance Auditor.
- It is within its site limit — the domain you are activating counts as one site. Free up a slot from your dashboard if you hit the limit.
- It has not expired or been revoked.
A key for a different Lyzerslab product (for example a MuRu Guard key) is rejected as a product mismatch and will not enable Pro here. Only a plan bundle that covers this product lets one key work across several extensions.
If a check cannot reach the dashboard
A brief network problem never switches Pro off on its own — the last confirmed status is kept until the next successful check. The free edition needs no key and makes no licence call.
