Running a Scan

Scope: include & exclude paths

Two settings control what is in scope:

  • Include paths — if set, only URLs matching these are scanned. Leave empty to scan everything discovered.
  • Exclude paths — URLs matching these are skipped even if discovered or included.

One rule per line. Use excludes for areas that are not public content or are known to be noisy: search results, faceted filters, print views, staging-only routes.

Discovery starts from published menu items and internal links. A page with no link path into it from within scope will not be found — add it via an include rule or link to it.
