Generate & publish your statement

1. Fill in the Accessibility statement options fieldset in Global Configuration (also reachable from the component Settings page): legal entity name, contact email, contact-form URL, and enforcement body. Sensible fallbacks are used when left blank (site name, site From-address).
2. Use Generate & publish statement. It builds a statement in the EU model structure — entity, standard applied, conformance status, non-accessible content, preparation date and method, feedback channel, enforcement procedure.
3. The statement is published as a Joomla com_content article. Regenerating updates the same article in place (tracked by id, with an alias fallback).
4. Add it to a menu so it has a stable public URL, and link it from your footer.
5. Regenerate after significant fixes so the preparation date and the non-accessible list stay current.

Conformance status and the non-accessible list come from your latest completed scan, so run a fresh scan before regenerating.

Keep the contact route real — an unmonitored address in a published statement is itself a compliance risk.
