Is this an accessibility overlay?

No. Overlays inject a runtime widget and are rejected by courts and regulators. This tool finds issues and shows you how to fix them in your content and templates.

Which standards does it cover?

WCAG 2.2 level A and AA, mapped to EN 301 549. Free ships the WCAG 2.2 A and AA profiles; Pro adds EN 301 549 and Section 508 profiles.

Which Joomla versions?

Joomla 4.0 and later — 4.x, 5.x and 6.x. Joomla 3 is not supported.

Does it change my site?

It only reads pages and stores findings. The one thing it writes is the Accessibility Statement article, and only when you click Generate. Every accessibility fix is one you make yourself in Joomla.

What does a Pro licence add right now?

Two extra scan profiles (EN 301 549, Section 508) and one privacy check that flags third-party tracker scripts. Other Pro features named in the marketing material are on the roadmap — see Roadmap.

Does my content leave the server?

No. Scanning is local. The only outbound calls are the Joomla update check and, on Pro, an hourly licence check that sends just the key and your domain.

Can one licence cover several sites?

Yes, up to the key’s site limit. A plan bundle issues one shared key that also covers the other products in the plan.

Why did “Run scan” return a partial result?

A scan started from the browser has an overall time budget (about 40 seconds) so it cannot outrun the web server timeout. Raise the limit by running fewer pages, or run larger scans from the CLI.
