How a scan works

  1. Discover. Pages are found from your published Joomla menu items and by following internal links, within the scope and page limit you set.
  2. Fetch. Each URL is requested from your own server, rate-limited, with a per-request timeout you control. A browser-triggered scan also has an overall wall-clock budget (about 40 seconds) and returns a partial result if it is reached; a CLI scan has no such cap.
  3. Check. The returned HTML is parsed and run through the accessibility checks. With a Pro licence, the tracker-presence privacy check also runs.
  4. Score & store. Findings are grouped by WCAG success criterion and by page, a conformance score is calculated, and the run is saved so you can see the trend.
  5. Report. View on screen, print, or export JSON / CSV. Regenerate your Accessibility Statement from the latest run.

Nothing is auto-fixed. You review every finding and fix it in Joomla yourself — the tool tells you which criterion failed, on which page, and how to correct it.
