Configuring Placement & Plugin Settings

Where to find it

System > Manage > Plugins, then open System - JHFB.

Settings

• Theme Takeover: header (on by default): replace the Helix header with the matched header on every page.
• Theme Takeover: footer (on by default): replace the Helix footer with the matched footer on every page.
• Also remove the Helix bottom row (off by default): when the footer is taken over, also remove the Helix Bottom row so only your designed footer shows.
• Kill switch: stops all output at once and your theme's own header and footer show. See Kill Switch & Safe Fallback.
• Auto-Replace (experimental) with Header marker and Footer marker: meant for themes other than Helix. Replaces a literal snippet of HTML, and only when it appears exactly once on the page. Leave it off on Helix sites.
• Debug logging: writes extra entries to administrator/logs/jhfbuilder.php (the folder set in Global Configuration).

Turning Theme Takeover off for the header does not hide your item. It only stops the plugin replacing the Helix header. The item can still be shown at a module position, see Module Position & Setup Wizard.
