Display Rules
Include, Exclude & Priority (Pro)
Last updated: October 17, 2026
Edition: Pro. Requires an active Pro license. Without one this feature shows a Pro banner and cannot be used.
Include and exclude
Every rule has an Include or Exclude setting. Include means "show on these". Exclude means "show everywhere except these".
For example, a header with the rules Entire site and Exclude: Menu items: Checkout shows on every page except Checkout.
Several items match
When more than one published item of the same type passes all its rules for a page, Pro picks the most specific one: the item with the most rules besides Entire site. If two are equally specific, the first in list order is used.
That lets you keep one general header for the whole site and add a more specific one for particular pages, without unpublishing anything.
Example
- Main header: Entire site.
- Landing header: Menu items: Offers, Campaign.
On the Offers page both match, and the Landing header wins because it has a more specific rule. Everywhere else only the Main header matches.
