Which Joomla versions are supported?

Joomla 4.4, 5 and 6, on PHP 8.1 or newer. Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder are required.

Do I need SP Page Builder?

Yes. Headers and footers are designed with SP Page Builder (version 5 or 6), and the Pro Nav Menu and Site Logo addons are SP Page Builder addons.

Will it break when Helix Ultimate or SP Page Builder updates?

It is built not to. It does not edit their files or your template settings, and your designs are stored in SP Page Builder pages and its own table. If a future Helix version changed the header or footer markup that Theme Takeover replaces, your theme's own header and footer would keep showing until the extension is updated, and the Health Check would tell you.

What if I disable or delete a header or footer?

Your theme's own header and footer come back exactly as they were. See Kill Switch & Safe Fallback.

Can I use different headers on different pages?

With Pro, yes: display rules for menu items, categories, languages and user groups. With Free, a header or footer shows on the entire site.

Do I need a license key?

Only for Pro. Free needs no key.

What happens if my Pro license expires?

Pro features switch off: the Pro display rules, the header effects and the Nav Menu and Site Logo addons. Headers and footers you designed with Free features keep showing, and your saved Pro settings are kept. See How the License Works.

Can I move my Pro license to another site?

Yes. Free the slot for the old domain under My Products in your Lyzerslab dashboard, then activate the key on the new site.

Will it slow my site down?

The extension adds a couple of small database queries per page to find the matching item, and the design is drawn by SP Page Builder as it would be anywhere else. Pro effects and the Nav Menu use a little JavaScript of their own.

Is it affiliated with JoomShaper?

No. It is an independent product by Lyzerslab. Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder are trademarks of their respective owners.
