How the License Works

Edition: Pro. Requires an active Pro license. Without one this feature shows a Pro banner and cannot be used.

What needs a license

• Display rules for menu items, categories, languages and user groups, and include and exclude.
• Header effects: transparent, hide on scroll and shrink on scroll.
• The JHFB Nav Menu and JHFB Site Logo addons.
• Pro updates.

What never needs a license

The Free edition. Designing, placing and publishing headers and footers, Theme Takeover, the Entire site rule, the Setup Wizard, the Health Check and the kill switch work without a key, and keep working if a Pro license ends.

When the license is not active

• The Display rules tab and the item's Settings tab show a Pro banner for the Pro features, with a button to get Pro or to activate your license.
• Pro addons show only a banner in the page builder, and nothing on the site for visitors.
• Everything you saved for Pro (rules and effect settings) is kept and works again as soon as the license is active.

How checks work

• The key is checked with the Lyzerslab store when you activate it, and again at most once an hour in the background. No visitor ever waits for a check.
• If the license server cannot be reached, the last confirmed state is kept. Only a clear answer from the store switches Pro on or off.
• A key issued for a different Lyzerslab product is rejected and is never saved.

Sites and domains

A key is tied to the domain it was activated on, and each key can be used on a limited number of domains, depending on your plan. To move a key to another site, free its slot under My Products in your Lyzerslab dashboard. Remove license in the License tab only removes the key from this site.
