Free vs Pro

The Free edition works on its own and needs no license key. Pro installs on top of Free and needs an active license.

• The Headers & Footers manager: filters, publish, unpublish and delete.
• Theme Takeover for the header and footer, and the optional Helix bottom-row removal.
• Module position placement with the Setup Wizard.
• Sticky header.
• The Entire site display rule, plus access level and language per item.
• Dashboard, Health Check, kill switch and the safe fallback.
• Updates through Joomla.

Needs Pro

• Display rules for menu items, categories, languages and user groups.
• Include and exclude on every rule, and the most specific rule wins match.
• Header effects: transparent header, hide on scroll, shrink on scroll.
• SP Page Builder addons: JHFB Nav Menu with the mobile off-canvas panel, and JHFB Site Logo.
• License activation and Pro updates.

Without a license

Where a Pro feature would appear, the screen shows a Pro banner instead and offers nothing you can half-use: the display rules offer only Entire site, the effects settings are replaced by the banner, and each Pro addon's panel in the page builder shows only the banner.

Headers and footers you designed with Free features never depend on the license, and settings you saved while Pro was active are kept.
