Overview

Joomla Header Footer Builder lets you design your site's header and footer with the SP Page Builder editor you already use, and shows them on your Helix Ultimate site in place of the template's own header and footer.

You create a header or footer item, click Design with SP Page Builder, build it in the builder that opens right on the item screen, choose where it shows, and publish. Nothing is written to Helix Ultimate or SP Page Builder files or to your template settings: your designs live in SP Page Builder pages and in this extension's own database table.

Free and Pro

The Free edition works on its own and needs no license key. It covers designing, placing and publishing headers and footers site-wide, with Theme Takeover, a sticky header option, the Setup Wizard, the Health Check and a kill switch.

Pro installs on top of Free and needs a license key. It adds display rules for menu items, categories, languages and user groups, header effects (transparent, hide on scroll, shrink on scroll), and two SP Page Builder addons: a Joomla menu with dropdowns and a mobile off-canvas panel, and a site logo.

If anything goes wrong

The extension is built to step aside: if it cannot render, or you switch it off, your template's own header and footer show exactly as they were. Disabling or deleting a header or footer has the same effect.
